Musicians, songwriters and bands: If you have been creating music since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, we encourage you to send info about your music to so we can direct fans to your site and get your music heard by new ears. Please send info to whatsup@kajamband.com. The only criteria is that you post music that has been created since March 2020, and that you have a website with a way to download songs or order merch and CDs.
And on that note, I would encourage you to give the latest tracks a listen. hese songs have been created by musicians that have used remote home recording technology to put their talents to work while remaining socially distant. A great example is the track J-Groove – this is a 12-bar bluesy track that was given to six players so they could add their unique touches. It was then sliced and diced into the two versions you can hear on this site.
Our featured song “No Peace”, started as a bass and drums riff that with the addition of Pedro el Poeta adding rap lyrics and production magic by Ray Legnini and Lance Quinn, as well as a video production by Nicholas Canning, we came up with a song / video / message that we are both proud to be part of. Hope you find it both musical and timely.
